Let’s All Rejoice. January 25, 2015. When I consider the places I’ve been, I also have to consider the places I haven’t been. The Blue Mountains. Perth. Uluru. Darwin. King Island. Bruny Island. Coober Pedy. Byron Bay. When I hear of people going on their holidays to Bali, for example, I wonder if they’ve ever stopped to consider exploring their own country? I know it shouldn’t concern me…but there’s so much here! And the exchange rate to go to Brisbane or Alice Springs is pretty good for Australians, too.

I received it as a going away gift when I left my position as a Shipper / Lead Hand at a small manufacturing company back in the winter of ’99. I’m never good at picking a ‘free’ prize. It’s like some kind of test that I ultimately end up failing. So there I was, standing in the store and looking at all of the cassettes. Anything I wanted! I must have looked for over an hour!

Me encanta inventar y hacer recetas con las cosas que tengo en la despensa, muchas veces por la falta de planificación y no saber que comer o por aprovechar algo que se va a poner malo. En esta ocasión compre un melón que no estaba nada bueno, es mas, no tenia casi sabor, y el que tenia tiraba un poco a pepino. Como me da mucha pena tirar comida decidí probar y hacer una crema de melón. Tengo que decir que el resultado fue genial! Y ademas super sano! Un trocito de pepino.
