I’ve been itching to get blogging again for the past several weeks, but my summer has been soooo busy that I’ve hardly had time to browse Pinterest, let alone sit down and write something interesting up! Let me take you back to the beginning of summer, where things first started getting crazy. I was thrilled to get to visit the Renegade Craft Fair in Brookly...

Saturday, August 25, 2012. Juice your veggies first then add apples. Keep testing and adding more apples until veggies aren't tasted. It's alright to trick them, it's for their own good! Here, I used carrots, celery, spinach and apples. Zucchini, olive oil (not shown), pizza sauce, grated cheese and mini pepperoni. Slice Zucchini, paint both sides with olive oil and grill (or broil) for about 10 minutes. Stay at home mom. Wednesday, August 22, 2012. A bit of Nature. Stopped to pick up rocks. Today finall...

Wildflowers 3: Life without Facebook: Day 1
http://wildflowers3.blogspot.com/2012/12/life-without-facebook-day-1.html
Monday, December 17, 2012. Life without Facebook: Day 1. After the recent tragedy in Newtown Connecticut my Facebook has been filling up with Sandy Hook coverage. I've been so grief stricken by all of this, that I decided to deactivate my personal Facebook account. I can't bare thinking about all those children and families. Although, I'll still have my blog page active, it's not quite as addictive as my personal so I don't see a problem there! But saying Adios to my personal Facebook for now! Subscribe ...

Sunday, September 29, 2013. Natural lighting is hard to come by these days. I've been working on brooches, but the lighting's never quite right for taking good pictures for my etsy listings. I think I'm going to have to construct a light box or something. I've kinda been ignoring the bad weather, and pretending it's nice enough to wear cropped cardigans and short skirts. It's not. But I'll keep pretending. I'm super obsessed with pony-tails and knee highs right now. Sweater, shirt, skirt, belt: thrifted.

stoic and pariah: So many brooches, ahh!
http://stoicandpariah.blogspot.com/2013/12/so-many-brooches-ahh.html
Tuesday, December 24, 2013. So many brooches, ahh! This is why I haven't been posting much lately:. I got my first wholesale order! It was 40 brooches, and it took me a few months to finish them. I don't know how some people manage to blog regularly, run a handmade business, AND go on fun adventures. When I focus on something, I can do so with laser beam intensity, but everything else around me becomes super neglected - like this blog! Doesn't that sound perfect? December 24, 2013 at 8:48 PM. Sorry I hav...

Sunday, November 23, 2014. Franklin and I got crafty this weekend and built a couple putz houses. Oh my goodness, it was so much fun! I can't stop looking at them. They're so perfectly cute and kitschy. We found the free patterns on retro renovation - they've got so many cute styles! I wanna make 'em all. ( Here's the link to all their putz house tutorials. I went with the retro ranch house. And Franklin went with the A-frame. All you need is:. 8226; an xacto knife. 8226; hot glue gun. 8226; paint (duh).
