Wanders and small adventures. Skip to primary content. January 30, 2015. The 16th annual Gray Jays Hut Ski! The Methow Trails groomer manicured the trails during the night, so after coffee and a leisurely breakfast, we skate-skied UP to Cassel Hut…mainly for this vista. Our blue sky from yesterday turned into overcast high clouds with a touch of blue. Cassel Hut is smaller, tough to get to, highest in elevation and has the best view! Wanders and small adventures. Skip to primary content. Rules, Rules, Rules. January 17, 2015. Confusing and busy… I have been shooting this way for years. It finally dawned on me the excess information was getting in the way of my visualizing the photo. Too many rules! So, I changed the one thing I could…this is my viewfinder now. Can you feel the weight lifted? Just something different for me, the old is new again. Try it, throw out some rules! This entry was posted in Photography. Thanks Sally, that is...

Wanders and small adventures. Skip to primary content. January 31, 2015. Back to my past…I have been preoccupied (obsessed really) with film. I recently dug out my old Ansel Adams-Camera, Negative, Print book collection; Google and YouTubed medium format equipment, exposure, Zone System, filters, 120 film photography, fine art photography, photo history… in hopes of reviving my depleted photography brain cells. Turns out, film is still alive and well! Anyone want to buy a nice Sony A7R system?

Wanders and small adventures. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. August 27, 2015. Fire season for 2015 has been worse than last year, no one ever imagined anything could be worse.
