Welcome to my life. watch your step. Continuing with my blood theme. You know it really grinds my gears when people think i do absolutely nothing because i'm studying photography. it's not easy to come up with a different concept for each shoot, prepare for it, set it up, shoot it, edit it, print it. Photographers actually do ALOT of effin work. so RESPEC. (and i totally intended to exclude the T, just to show how serious i am). Alas, this is what the turn out was. Do i like it? Yes do i love it?

Welcome to my life. watch your step. With photoshop, anything is possible. I was feeling a little bummed out after the critique i got yesterday from my teacher. But then i slept on it and came into school today and opened the photo back up. I started messing around with a separate photo i took in the same shoot, thinking i'd merge the two together, maybe make it some sort of diptych. it started to look ok, but there was just something missing. Do i go with the single photo from my previous post?

Welcome to my life. watch your step. The beginning of the end. My final semester as a photography student has commenced. After 3 years i'm totally ready to graduate and do mah thang in the real world! Amber is always a pleasure to shoot. she's so stunningly beautiful and being in front of the camera comes naturally for her. plus her skin is flawless, so less work for me later ;). Welcome to my life. watch your step. I had to do a small slideshow/video project for my photo journalism class, so i decided to have my friend amber do all sorts of yoga things and i "document" it. I've shot amber a couple times before this, and it's always a pleasure shooting her. but for this she in turn was also doing what she loved, so the energy from both of us that day was just totally positive and vibrant. i enjoyed every second of it! Welcome to my life. watch your step. Back in the swing of things. I attempted to do a more modern take on bonnie and clyde. To be honest i'm not too pleased with the way the photo came out. I had a vivid image in my mind of how it was supposed to look, and even though the picture itself is nice, it wasn't what i had envisioned it to look like in the end. I went about trying to photoshop the money in. It all looked so unrealistic; so i made the conscious decision of omitting the damn money. sigh.
