Marcellus Nursery was started in the spring of 1962 by the owner, Ted Stetler, after his graduation from SUNY Farmingdale, and with the purchase of 44 acres of farmland in Marcellus, New York and the initial planting of 800 seedings. In 1970, Ted and his wife opened the garden center at the present location on Onondaga Road in Syracuse, NY. QUALITY NEED NOT COST MORE.
