The Tolman Family: October 2014
http://thetolmanfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 23, 2014. I'm still loving my harp lessons and the new harp friends that I've made. This new hobby is so fun and relaxing, and I love spending time practicing. I'm currently rehearsing music for a Christmas harp ensemble I'm performing in at the Children's Hospital in December. I'm also working on a fun competition piece for a festival next summer, and trying to polish a hymn arrangement of Be Still My Soul. This video below is a song called Reverie. The Tolman Family: July 2015
http://thetolmanfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 29, 2015. We've been busy this summer working to give our yard a bit of a face-lift. Here are some "before" and "after" pictures. BEFORE: Our shrubs in the front yard grew too big for their space despite our best efforts to keep them trimmed back. So we pulled up the spirea bushes with the pink flowers and transplanted them to a new bed we made behind our garage. AFTER: We added the edging to clean up the border and planted the same perennials that we put in the other bed. So I decided to...

The Tolman Family: Spring Happenings
http://thetolmanfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2015/06/spring-happenings.html
Thursday, June 25, 2015. Molly is in the High-Ability Learner program at school and each year they choose a topic to research and present on. Molly chose Aicardi Sydrome and the brain. This is the poster and brain model she made all by herself. Molly was also a winner in the city's Arbor Day poster contest. Molly's Arbor Day poster. Annie was happy staying up late with Dad after a church activity. We've seen a lot of double rainbows from our back deck lately. So beautiful! Sept 2: Annie's CDC appointments.

The Tolman Family: November 2014
http://thetolmanfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 14, 2014. Be Still, My Soul. It's been 7 months now since I first started to learn to play the harp. Here's an arrangement of Be Still, My Soul. By Julie M. Staples that I've been working on. I'm also still experimenting with doing video on my Canon 5D Mark II. So this video isn't perfect, but at least it's much better than my last recording! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Jul 11: ENT salivary gland follow-up. Sept 2: Annie's CDC appointments. Music by Jodi Ann. Photography by Jodi Ann.

The Tolman Family: January 2015
http://thetolmanfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 22, 2015. Update on Annie's Spinal Fusion Infection Treatment. But otherwise, Annie continues to be happy and healthy. We have a lot of potential changes coming soon having her off the antibiotics, but like always, we'll just take one day at a time and be grateful she's done as well as she has so far! Labels: Updates on Annie. Friday, January 9, 2015. It took over 2 weeks, working a couple hours every day, but we finished! While we were in midtown, we decided to go see the decorated win...

The Tolman Family: Ponca State Park
http://thetolmanfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2015/05/ponca-state-park.html
Wednesday, May 27, 2015. We went camping over Memorial Day weekend to Ponca State Park with our good friends the Packards and the Dinnwiddies. Here are some highlights from our trip. We bought a cargo carrier in order to haul all of our camping supplies with us. It holds a surprisingly large amount of stuff! But even with the cargo carrier full, there was barely room for the kids in the back! We wouldn't travel long distances like this, but it worked just fine for the 2 hour drive. Molly went kayaking on...

The Tolman Family: August 2014
http://thetolmanfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 30, 2014. Our family really enjoys going to the Creighton library. Justin gets great perks for being faculty there- like getting to check out books for about 6 months at a time with unlimited renewals! Thursday, August 28, 2014. You might think I'm really on top of my fall family portraits, but these were actually LAST fall's family portraits! Saturday, August 16, 2014. Justin's Turn for Surgery. Saturday, August 9, 2014. We had fun dressing up for the photo booth! I spent today at the h...
