The sweet things she says. April 23, 2008. This morning a Hallmark card commercial came on. This is the one where the young lady had a Mother’s Day card where she could record her own greeting. She was with several friends and didn’t know what she should say. They were all giving suggestions from sweet to corny. In the next scene, there are several family members sitting at the dinner table when “mom” opens her card. One can hear the girl say, “Mom, You Rock! 8221; and then music plays (wild thing, maybe).

April 21, 2008. My husband and I have been working hard at becoming “debt free”. We started working the “Dave Ramsey plan” in July and have since paid off over $17,000 in debt. We don’t have much in savings, because yet again we are working the plan. Step 1: $1,000 in savings. Step 2: Pay off all debt except the house using the debt snowball. She is fifteen months now - crawling and pulling up. She has met all of her OT goals and has been dismissed from therapy. The only thing that she is truly lagging behind on is her speech. She says "bye bye"; but we have not been sure that she understands what is being said to her because she does not respond.until last night.
