Different kinds of surveys are being conducted in the framework of the MED-JELLYRISK Project, aiming to study the distribution and abundance of gelatinous zooplankton, mainly jellyfish. These surveys are distributed in different areas of the Mediterranean, in coastal and oceanic areas, and during the whole year due to the diverse habitats and life cycles of the Mediterranean jellyfish species.
