My experiments in the kitchen. Thursday, July 29, 2010. Penne with lightly sautéd peppers. Penne pasta (or the pasta of your choice). Fresh Basil and parsley. Cook the pasta according to the directions on the packaging. While the pasta is cooking, chop up the peppers into bite size pieces and put aside. Chop the basil and parsley and put aside. For this recipe, I didn't have fresh herbs so I used dried. Drain the pasta and put aside. Remove from the heat and serve. 1 jar (24.5 oz) DOLE Tropical Fruit.
