On Fridays, we decided to do a program called Making Meaning, which we love but haven't had the time to fit in, in the past few years. In each unit, we cover a new reading strategy through a read aloud, turn and talks, and then creating a class book based on the story we read. I am so excited to welcome you to Room 111! We are going to have a fantastic school year and you are going to learn so much! Don’t forget that the school day begins promptly at 8:10 (drop off is 7:55-8:10), bring a healthy, nut-free snack and water. There is no need to bring any supplies as the town has provided all that is needed.

From poll helpers to check everyone in and out, to personal polling stations, to homeroom questions and presidential write-in candidates:. Today Room 111 had their own mock election along with 2 questions to vote on. One question ended in a tie due to someone deciding not to answer it (which was a choice).
