THE REASON FOR THIS. On March 20th 2002 at 00:30 my mum was rushed into the John Radcliffe Hospital with acute myeloid leukaemia (aml). This is a journal of our fight against the disease and all things in between. What's written will sometimes be happy, sad, distressing, and occasionally mundane. She was in remission until March 2004 when the disease relapsed. In July 04 she had a non-related bone marrow transplant. So far everything is going well and she has returned to full time work. I Am Still Here.

Friday, June 24. It really is awfully hot. This weather is not doing anything for people's mood's around the house, lately. Good lord, did anyone see how hard Miss Mish pulled Vit's hair just because Vit ran out of brown crayons and so used Miss Mish's eyebrow pencil. Thank goodness Mike was around to pull Miss Mish off Vit, and Dr. Rob literally had to carry a screaming Vit and chuck her in the pool to cool her down.
