Wednesday, August 31, 2011. At long last- the much-anticipated fashion show. This is the most popular event because the participants. Go ALL OUT replicating Barbie fashions in adult size. Every costume you see here is an actual doll that has been produced. We yelled and cheered for about an hour non-stop for our favorites. The Landmark collection gals. Linda Kyaw, the designer, is sandwiched in the middle. These dresses EXACTLY mirror the originals on the dolls. France and Italy fashions walk the runway.

The supermarket diorama was one of my favorites. Look at all the tiny produce! The Beauty School entry was equally adorable. Where did they find all the mini doll heads! With bags full of gifts from our tablemates and Mattel! It was overwhelming- there were 8 other people at the table. Besides me and Diane. That added up to a lot of loot. A couple miles down the road to where convention activities were heating up. Early registration opened that morning and we made a beeline for it! They weren't messing around. You had to prove your identity before you could. Receive your convention ID badge, which you had. To wear AT ALL TIMES to EVERY event.
