Canadian Lutheran Chick: February 2009
http://canadianlutheranchick.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 11, 2009. What the heck is going on in your life Kristen? What a good question! So I am staying at my parents' house until that all takes place. I have been enjoying having some time off and reconnecting with friends. I am now going to look for part time temporary work to fill some time and provide some income until the call is completed. I'm very excited about the journey I am on and have learned much more about trusting God! Sunday, February 08, 2009. Sorry I haven't blogged lately!

Friday, July 25, 2014. Busy in the sun. It's been a fun week here! There have been an awful lot of cute around. Monkey is talking more and more, and being understood (which is HUGE! I just smiled and said that was good, because I wasn't sharing any with them ;). They all have been really good this week. When they saw me boxing up extra blankets they got a bit anxious, but that disappeared quickly when I explained that the box was going to the new house and not the second hand store. Second from First: Day 1
http://secondfromfirst.blogspot.com/2008/07/day-1.html
Vacillating between doubt one minute and faith the next - normal everyday faith. Friday, July 18, 2008. Holidaze - Day 1. We slept in to 1030! We never do that! This is what Alan and I did too. Although we didn’t get to go to the ice cream store we had a lovely “honk” down by the lake and around the town. We came back and lit a pithy fire – the wood was to green – and were in bed by 2300. A lovely day. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Blogs I like to vist. I should have known.

Vacillating between doubt one minute and faith the next - normal everyday faith. Sunday, July 27, 2008. That was some thunderstorm last night! The heavens were really rockin! We took a short hike to Sunset Beach to check out the dog safe beach. Lovely sand but there were so many dead fishflies – YUCK! And of course the dogs have to roll in them – eeeewww gross, gross, gross. It would be much easier having a cat! They dried off on the treck home and didn’t smell all that bad. Second from First: Serenade

Vacillating between doubt one minute and faith the next - normal everyday faith. Sunday, July 27, 2008. They left early the next morning and did not return until late Saturday night. Alan and I were getting ready to go to bed when these young women started singing in 5 part harmony. It was absolutely glorious! To be serenaded to sleep with songs that sounded like hymns or folk songs was absolutely wonderful. It was a perfect way to fall asleep. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.
