These are the trials and tribulations of my ownership of a 1979 911 SC. Tuesday, July 22, 2008. Baby needs a new set of shoes. I missed the last autocross due to cash flow, gas prices and time. There is a new autocross this weekend. Right now, I expect to make that event. One nice thing about owning an old car, even though the tires are "extremely wide" and "high performance" for 1979, they are average passenger car tires for today. So much cheaper than I expected. Saturday, November 21, 2009. Had our first trip to the E.R. with Teddy last night, fortunately for a very minor injury. Teddy fell, bit his lip and tore his upper frenulum (the tissue that attaches the upper lip to the gums). There was lots of blood, some tears, and an Emergency Room co-pay (ouch! Saturday, February 21, 2009. Andy's been home for week, now. He's very bored. Very, very. Bored He's not getting in as much playing as he did at "Camp Grammy Grampy," or as many walks. He's not getting two small meals a day, every day (although we try. and then he gets meal #2 later. In the evening than he's used to). He's not getting as much attention.
