Here, there and everywhere this summer. Jul 22nd, 2010 at 4:48 PM. I've done a good amount of writing here in the last 3 years. I have also had some great conversations, deepened friendships- and I can even say three of my very good friendships (. Were largely forged from initial conversations on LJ. It's getting harder for me to make time to blog for myself though. Speechtechie. View my Tags page. Powered by LiveJournal.com. Designed by Lilia Ahner.

A few seconds of fame... - Musings

Here, there and everywhere this summer. A few seconds of fame. May 6th, 2010 at 5:30 PM. Asked me to be an extra in his group's entry into this year's 48 Hour Film Fest project, and it was a lot of fun. If you don't know about 48 Hour, it's an international competition where people in many cities enter, structuring their project (to be completed in 48 hours) around an assigned genre, prop, line, and character. His group always does a great job. View my Tags page. Powered by LiveJournal.com.

Here, there and everywhere this summer. I am old and tired. Jul 18th, 2010 at 11:31 AM. But totally OK with it. Back to that in a minute. This past week brought us to a great vacation in Provincetown during Bear Week 2010. A few minutes after arrival on Saturday, I had a Moment, stepping away from my friends and leaning on the railing of the deck at the Pied, with a beer (this sounds like a fabulous setting for a revelation, huh? Were the crowds bitchy and inaccessible? More Bear Week Photos. So I have a...

Here, there and everywhere this summer. The Pops and Ms. Menzel. May 8th, 2010 at 5:10 PM. Chris and I went to see the Boston Pops the other night with guest performer Idina Menzel! On Channel 2. Fiedler knew how to market himself through television and some rather unconventional characterization for a symphony conductor. We were treated to the Pops doing one of Fiedler's favorites, Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, which is much more than an airline theme. Here's what she sang:. Kinda goofy song about her son.

Demi-goddess? - Musings

Here, there and everywhere this summer. Feb 26th, 2010 at 9:30 PM. I am not much interested in Demi Moore and Parker Posey's new movie,. Nor am I all that interested in her as an actress. She hasn't done much for me since her semi-smoldering office vixen in. Though even in that, she made the worst supposedly-menacing, file-cabinet-raiding avatar in film history. Though when Michael Douglas almost walked off the fake hallway cliff in the terrifying database world. It was truly gripping. View my Tags page.
