knittingyogurt: April 2009
http://knittingyogurt.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 22, 2009. Here is a chopped up excerpt from a frantic email I wrote to the committe last night. I havent been able to calm down since. The parents of children attending are more able to take up employment, meet others, attend an event elsewhere and their children benefit from socialising with others, accessing early years educational provision and care. They are all members of said community". How many community centres are there? Are we running a community centre or a school? Basically ...

knittingyogurt: itchy
http://knittingyogurt.blogspot.com/2010/01/itchy.html
Wednesday, January 20, 2010. Which reminds me of last night when Freddie would not eat his pasta-with-broccoli-and-pesto-and-cheese. He said it tasted sour and I thought it might have been the cream cheese that I had added. Fortunately I had a taste and reallised he had smothered it in salt! The temptation of the toucan-salt-cellar! Must remember to remove that from table before he ruins another perfectly good meal. There was some left in pan and he did eat it- phew! knittingyogurt: December 2008
http://knittingyogurt.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 20, 2008. Well the boys have been in bed all day with temperatures and coughs. That's three months of school and they're completely wiped out! Well at last we have two weeks in recovery now. I have been making mincemeat for pies,. During which Freddie sat on the kitchen floor in his pj's with a very big book, that has a CD, saying can. I am currently simmering apple chutney, which is refusing to set. Were the caraway seeds a vital ingredient, I wonder? Links to this post. Yeah, out of ...

knittingyogurt: July 2009
http://knittingyogurt.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 17, 2009. Sitting on the old school bench. I just wrote this as my Facebook status:. One more day of school, one more day of sorrow. One more day of trudging all the way there and back twice and having to deal with all the paperwork and not having any time to do anything else. we'll be free tomorrow! Haaa 6 weeks of unstructured autonomous home education here we come :)". As part of the normal day,. Not tagged on for the elite few who can afford it, as if it isn't really that important.

knittingyogurt: February 2009
http://knittingyogurt.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 03, 2009. He say six more weeks of winter, so that means more hibernation for me! I have been spending rather a lot of time in bed this winter, with colds, etc, but it's what I seem to need. I am still trying to shift the one I got a couple of weeks ago, got better enough to go out for 2 birthday nights out, one of which involved singing a duet with my birthday-sister Dawn, which turned out well,. Must get round to some fresh juices too. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

knittingyogurt: August 2009
http://knittingyogurt.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 12, 2009. Bike riding and other stuff. Ok so the summer holidays are going by way too fast. I've lost count but I think we're over halfway through now. We did spend the first few weeks taking it easy, lolling around at home, etc. And they got ice creams, and Freddie fell over and I had to take him back, where I promptly fell asleep for two hours. So they have now gone outside- hurray! Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Wading through the treacle of life.

knittingyogurt: fashion scooters and PJ's
http://knittingyogurt.blogspot.com/2010/02/fashion-scooters-and-pjs.html
Monday, February 08, 2010. Fashion scooters and PJ's. Was it just my half-awake Monday morning imagination or have I just spotted a new fashion trend? While I was still bleary-eyed in the co-op, buying my breakfast, I spotted a man wearing a kid's scooter casually flung over one shoulder, whilst perusing the papers. (Why do people have to peruse papers? And how do people have the energy to peruse papers standing up at 9am? And then I get home and read this article. Get with the programme! Well, I can onl...

knittingyogurt: March 2009
http://knittingyogurt.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 26, 2009. Reading between the lines. The boys have been storming ahead with their reading since they started school in September. I've been making an effort lately to remember to read with them every evening and really it's a pleasure as they are doing so well with it and seem to enjoy it. Yes, we had a brief discussion about this afterwards. the conclusion being that this was written in 1993 and possibly we have moved on a bit since then, hopefully. And yes, the reading was fine! Course ...

knittingyogurt: drinking hot water- too lazy to add a teabag
http://knittingyogurt.blogspot.com/2010/01/drinking-hot-water-too-lazy-to-add.html
Saturday, January 09, 2010. Drinking hot water- too lazy to add a teabag. I'm blogging now because I'm bored. bored of facebook, which is what I do when I'm ill or tired, which I am both. Nothing much going on, well it is Friday night and people have more interesting things to do. I could go to bed and read Margaret Atwood's The Tent, but I had been looking forward to Falling Through Clouds. At the book launch this evening. I didn't have the energy but Rach said she would get me a signed copy- huzzah!
