Sitting down at a coffee shop with Miss Strangename! And the fabulous interview she agreed to with me). Some people are just absolutely fabulous without thirsting for recognition. Miss Strangename is that girl. This interview is based off of the time I spent at a coffee shop in Urbana, IL with the girl who calls herself Elizabeth Jin, also known as "Miss Strange Name." Her blog is called The Fantasy of Miss Strangename. Where were you born? What do you remember of your childhood? It is such a unique name.

Paulie Antiques: An Interview with Annika Victoria from The Pineneedle Collective
http://www.pollybland.com/2014/03/an-interview-with-annika-victoria-from.html
An Interview with Annika Victoria from The Pineneedle Collective. Tell us about visiting Japan, if you'd like! Oh my goodness. Japan. Where do I even start? The best part was that they are all these experimental/electronic musicians who, if they'd been Australian, would have been "too cool" to be so enthusiastic about showing us around. There's too much to talk about when it comes to my experiences in Japan, I could fill up this entire interview only talking about that! When did you start wearing wigs?

Paulie Antiques: Outfit: Sun Worship
http://www.pollybland.com/2015/06/outfit-sun-worship.html
Yesterday my friend Elliott and I went out to Montrose Beach around noon. I am amazed that these turned out so well considering it's the harshest time of the day to shoot! There were so many people on Montrose Beach that day that I was so glad to have a companion rather than my tripod. I always feel slightly insane posing for a tripod when I am dressed like this! I bought this romper from American Apparel a few days ago and I am obsessed. the hat is also from American Apparel. Happy Summer! Watch a music...

Self depiction, extrication, and deprecation by Polly Bland. Backflash: Santa Monica, California circa 1989. What is life without pondering what our existence truly means? Funny thing is, you can think and think on it as much as you like- say, your whole entire life- and have little more information as to why we exist than what you started with. Baffling, eh? Ive read this post numerous times, and, like clockwork, I get all choked up immediately afterward. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Watch a musi...

I love the light and precious feeling it gives off, almost like a heavenly glow around the head of whomever is gracing it's presence. My boss Stephanie gave me the left over flowers to complete this crown (she knew that I needed to practice! Working with you so far has been a blast! Tights c/o We Love Colors.
