Was hard to convince my parents as we decided to ride (not drive :D) finally they agreed with a big speech. This was Chetu's first long ride so we decided to stay a day in Mysore so that she will not get strained out in the first day of the trip. Route Plan: Bangalore - Mysore - Ooty. Kannur’s Mappila Bay – Ayikkara beach, more a fish market than a ‘beach’. Mar 14, 2018. I’ve been meaning to visit Ayikkara for a while now. It’s a harbour and one of the main fishing ports in Kannur district. Fishing boats bring in their daily catch and often the fishermen sell the fish right on the beach. Laying salted fish out to dry.
