Our Canadian Cuties: June 2012
http://lscj2008.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 4, 2012. And Beau Make Four. Beau 15 hours old. Beau Bridger Jeffers made his debut on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at 4:47pm. He weighed 7lbs 10oz and was 22 in long. His head circumference was 14 inches. Beau's arrival pretty much came out of nowhere. I had been feeling a little crampy the weekend Beau arrived, but it was nothing that struck me as this could be it. Why would you ask that"? I quickly replied with "I KNOW! Such a loving moment from my end. Ha! My first moments with my son. Mara, L...

Sunday, June 19, 2011. On Friday, we attended Cora's annual daycare field trip to the Edmonton Valley Zoo. This marks the 3rd year we have gone. It will also be the last year we attend since Cora will graduate come December. The weather was quite nice in the morning but torrential rain started at lunch time. It's a good thing the zoo is small because we saw the whole zoo in the morning. Golden rules for navigating a zoo. The alpacas were busy roaming around. Rule #3: If the indoor exhibits get crowded, g...

Our Canadian Cuties: CO Comes To AB
http://lscj2008.blogspot.com/2012/04/co-comes-to-ab.html
Tuesday, April 24, 2012. CO Comes To AB. Grandpa Bob and Grandpa Jim made their last journey from Denver to Edmonton to visit Blondie and Co before our big move back to the States. We had a wonderful long weekend with them. Alberta spring weather cooperated and we had our nicest weekend of 2012 thus far. What luck we had! Chasing the kite to help get it back in the sky. The Edmonton skyline. Not a bad looking city. Lee getting busted by local law enforcement. This has to be one of my favorite photos ever.

Friday, April 29, 2011. Easter morning at the Jeffers' household was quite fun. The Easter Bunny was very good to her. She got a Mr. Potato Head, 2 dresses, sunglasses, side walk chalk and candy. Grandma Brandis also sent her a dress, two movies (Tangled and Bambi), and more panties. The Easter Bunny must have been lightheaded after visiting our house because he also blew up 25 balloons! Can you spot the Easter eggs? My ironing board has become a living room staple. Already an outfit change! On the Satur...

Sunday, December 25, 2011. Daddy bringing the tree inside. Cora showing off some sap on her fingers. When we tell Cora to put her hands down, she always does the opposite. Every ornament needed a kiss. Surprisingly, or not, there are no candy canes left on the tree. My birthday dinner. Cora wore her dancing skirt and did a show for me at the restaurant. It was the best birthday dinner ever. Cora took about 20 pictures of Daddy that night. Back to the giant gift bag from Grandma Jo. Snug as a bug in a rug.

Our Canadian Cuties: November 2010
http://lscj2008.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 16, 2010. It turns out I have used up my 1GB of space allotted for pictures and videos on Blogger. But, not to worry! I am going to purchase more space as it's quite cheap. To top it off, our camera broke. It might be done for good. We dug out our old one for the time being. We may just be in the market for a new camera at Christmas. I am thinking a Nikon D90 and following it up with some local photography classes. ;) Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Friday, November 5, 2010.

Sunday, October 30, 2011. A Cozy Colorado Cabin. Paddled around in the canoe, sat by the warm fire, enjoyed the sun, and just had a lovely time. Cora was Aunt Carol's right hand gal. She loved helping tend the fire. George is great with Cora. She loves Georgie. It is amazing how much these two dogs put up with. Cora and Grandma Jo reading. Cora was pretty much glued to Grandma this trip. Cora is starting to recognize family members, making trips like these that much better. The front of the cabin. Cora's...

Our Canadian Cuties: Getting Ready for The Boy
http://lscj2008.blogspot.com/2012/04/getting-ready-for-boy.html
Monday, April 9, 2012. Getting Ready for The Boy. Since we rarely dressed Cora in anything other than footed PJ's until she was 6 months old, I imagine we'll prefer the same for Beau. So, I've been shopping for lots of footed PJ's and cozy little clothes. So FUN! The crab PJ's will more than likely be his going home outfit from the hospital. It is Lee's favorite. This is my favorite outfit. It is just a long-sleeved kimono style onesie. I am a total glutton for kimono onesies and gowns. CO Comes To AB.

Monday, December 27, 2010. For Cora's Birthday blog, I feel as though it is necessary that I start with a dialogue between Cora and Lee from Christmas Eve rather than her birthday. We're sitting at the dinner table eating baked salmon and green beans. Lee and I are done eating, but Cora is busy going to town on her third helping. Lee: My goodness Cora. Are you our Omega-3 baby? Cora: (stern look {see photo for example}) I two! Lee: (laughing very hard) Oh sorry. You are two, not Omega-3. She is currently...
