Monday, February 9, 2009. Departing Barcelona - 1/25/2009. After a great stay in Barcelona, it's now time for some serious cruising! Boarding and departure went smoothly indeed. We were very happy to have chosen the little suite with a balcony and found that we needed every square inch. The rest of the ship lived up to our expectations. And Saint Peter's Basilica are nothing short of astounding and simply must be seen in person to be fully appreciated. I expected that. What I did not expect was the grandeur of the buildings themselves. The School of Athens. Michelangelo, Raphael's mistress and Raphael himself.
