Our Learning Curve: Oh my! Crazy, busy!
http://kylaohs.blogspot.com/2010/10/oh-my-crazy-busy.html
Saturday, October 2, 2010. Coming into the month of September, I knew that life was going to get pretty busy. Boy, was that an understatement! It has been tricky trying to balance being a mom, wife, student, teacher, and volunteer. I am the first to admit that we have been way too busy, but thankfully it is starting to slow down a little bit as of this weekend. Ryker is loving school! Next quarter I have to take A&P II and Physics, then the next quarter is Algebra, Survey of Biology (really? 1 is it kind?

Saturday, March 21, 2009. Valentine's Day And Other Happeneings. Happy Thanksgiving" is what my son kept saying to me all day! I finally decided not to correct him #1)because it was so cute #2) because it really is a day for giving thanksgiving and love. So, "Happy Thanksgiving" it will be! The day started out by eating "pannie cakes" that said "I love U" and they were served up with a special gift and card. The cute little puppies. A couple weeks later I had the privilege. I wanted to share one thing th...

Monday, June 30, 2008. Tears of Joy.Not From Decluttering. Our pastor's family recently headed out to China to complete the adoption of their son. They left this past Friday morning and were officially. Together with him today! They are posting often on their blog about. To cry tears of complete joy as I read through the whole account. My sweet daughter kept asking me why I was crying. Kiddos just don't understand why tears of joy flow when there is no band aid. To put on it? Posted by Mama Ohs. This wil...

Tuesday, October 28, 2008. Posted by Mama Ohs. Monday, October 27, 2008. Weekend Getaway and 3 Goals! It was a sobering reminder that you may think that you have it all together spiritually because of what you "look" like, but really matters is your heart! I loved hearing that message. I have never ever thought that I had it all together spiritually, but I often times forget about the heart issue of loving God first because He first loved us! What a great truth. I was so proud of her! Posted by Mama Ohs.

Our Learning Curve: John
http://kylaohs.blogspot.com/2010/09/john.html
Wednesday, September 8, 2010. I have been slowly working my way through the book of John for a little while now, seeking out answers to questions that have been heavy on my heart. I wanted to share a few thoughts that have really moved me. If you haven't ever taken the time to read it, please do! Being loved is the most powerful motivation in the world! One other foot note said, "Those who realize how much they are loved are able to love much". Really good food for thought! Posted by Mama Ohs.

Our Learning Curve: January 2009
http://kylaohs.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 29, 2009. First of all, I need to apologize to all of you who have been checking in on my blog. I'm sorry! I have been very neglectful with it. I opened up an account on Face Book. And have been having such a great time reconnecting with class mates and long lost friends. It is rather addictive and I have to make sure that I limit my time or else I would spend all day on the silly thing looking for people I have lost touch with. Fun, but beware. Where have the past 2 1/2 months gone?

Our friends just welcomed there newest addition to the family last night. She is only 4 lbs 7 oz, and still needs a little help with breathing, but as far as I know everything seems to be alright for the moment. Please keep this family in your prayers, especially this itty bitty one. Thanks! Congratulations Scott and Alisa! Posted by Mama Ohs.

Monday, November 10, 2008. I finally did it. Last week I went grocery shopping at Walmart and did a very strange thing.I bought a whole turkey. Why is this a strange thing you might ask? Everything went very well .until.I decided to defrost the bird. My how quickly things go wrong! I thought you were supposed to unwrap the turkey and then set it in a sink of cold water. Nope! So, why did I make this spur of the moment decision to buy a turkey? And guess what. It turned out GREAT! I was so proud of myself!
