Friday, 25 February 2011. 160;Feeling a little travel weary now. The crossing wasnt rough but there was enough swell to constantly remind you that you were on a ship. Unfortunately the people in the next cabin had brought their hobby with them - carpentry - what on earth they were tapping away at all night I cant begin to imagine - best not go there! I could be in...

Gear we use and recommend. Photography is a visual language. Like other languages it requires effort and dedication to learn. It is the art of connecting with your subject and thoughtfully using light and creativity to mould a still memory of your vision. To enjoy photography in the digital era, we try to follow these principles:. Observe, connect, visualize, think, create repeat all steps – and only then press the shutter button. We know that the Internet has a massive number of photography websites and...

Wanderings of my Mind: June 2014
http://shopaholicann.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Wanderings of my Mind. A collection of thoughts and photos. Tuesday, 17 June 2014. The hedge has got to go. Last Saturday morning I looked at this giant of a job and decided that unless a start was made, however small, it would never be done. Right. Armed with 2 wheelbarrows, a pair of secateurs and some sturdy gloves I began. Rather than handle everything twice I carefully cut branches and put them straight into the barrow. It was going to be a lonnnng job! Perhaps I'd better go on a course ;). So, what...

Wanderings of my Mind. A collection of thoughts and photos. Saturday, 12 July 2014. A Tomato Sandwich on the Periphery of Life. Do you ever get that feeling, the one where you're not quite engaged with the rest of your surroundings? No, well I have. It's almost like walking into the cake baking classroom when you should be in woodwork. It can be both interesting and disconcerting. Probably both of those at the same time! Oh, the tomato sandwich. just my favourite meal/snack at the moment :). I was in for...

Wanderings of my Mind: March 2011
http://shopaholicann.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Wanderings of my Mind. A collection of thoughts and photos. Monday, 28 March 2011. Well its gone… the weekend that is. There must be some law of Physics which states that time speeds up on Saturday and Sunday. Not that it should bother me as Ive been retired for a good number of years so weekends are little different from the rest of the week. An hour of precious sleep was lost so when I woke at 6am, which was really 5am the wine didnt seem like such a good idea. . Well its something to do with the engi...

Two Worlds Collide | LIVE XL
http://ilivexl.com/2014/08/two-worlds-collide
We all have a purpose and something to share with the world. It always happens when I least expect it. I’m gaining back my inner strength, becoming independent again. Then, the simplest thing occurs that reminds me of the one thing I’m trying to forget – I’m alone. What caused it this time? See how it works? I find it strange how these two worlds collide. It feels almost intrusive for old memories to come barging in anytime they choose. Shouldn’t I be the one to tell them when to show up? August 19, 2014.
