Letters to my sons. Saturday, January 31, 2015. Wants to be a Big Kid. Lately Landon has been asserting his independence and showing us that he wants to be a big boy like his brother. He shuns the stroller, and often the highchair, and is now in a toddler bed. We haven't completely given up the highchair (its in toddler mode) because he eats so much better when he is contained. Its a little distracting to have all this freedom! Meals may take an hour when he is sitting at the table, but he sure is cute!

The day before, we celebrated with a Hungry Caterpillar themed birthday party! It was fun seeing him get into the excitement and realize that all the commotion was for HIM. We had a great party with one small caveat- our air conditioner went out at the beginning of the party! It got pretty hot which wasn't fun, but other than that we had a great time!
