Catherine and Mikes Adventures in Austin. Saturday, May 26, 2012. Mike and I got on the road at around 730am (Eastern time) this morning. We drove through the rest of Virginia, all of Tennessee, and about halfway through Arkansas. We arrived at our hotel in Little Rock at around 7pm (central time). Total travel time was 12.5 hours. Catherine and Mikes Adventures in Austin. Friday, June 15, 2012. Blues on the Green and Mike's first sort of day off. It was a ton of fun. They have these free concerts every other Wednesday, and the next one a favorite singer of mine, Ben Kweller, is playing! Barton Springs, right next to Zilker Park. Everybody migrating towards the stage. Little Man cooling off :). We ate some lunch when we got back, watched an episode of "Boardwalk Empire" and Mike went to work while I took a nap! June 15 - June 28.

Catherine and Mikes Adventures in Austin. Sunday, June 3, 2012. Every time Mike and I walk down South Congress we see a line of people out the door at a burger place called Hopdoddy. Today we decided to tough out the long line to see what it's all about. It was TOTALLY worth it! It was such a cool place, with amazing burgers and awesome drinks. It was definitely pricey (closer to prices on Long Island) but still worth it. And to top it off, we can walk there! Tomato, Avocado, and Truffle Aioli.
