Book reviews and more! The Great Gatsby–Halftime Review. The Great Gatsby is one of those books that I read in high school and which my brain apparently blocked to prevent trauma. It seriously was that bad. However, the good news is that means that I didn’t really remember what happened at all, so I can now, as a 30 year old woman, read it again for the first time.
