Creating a dialogue among women. Friday, November 11, 2011. I looked in the mirror for what seemed like hours at a time searching for the lost pieces of me. Right before my eyes the glass shattered without me even lifting a hand. If I had the strength to lift my hand and peel away the skin, that way my top layer could be cleared and my true layers underneath could show.because I can't see me in this physical layer of skinny, flat chest, and weakness. My hands trembled from the pain and then turned numb.

He looked at her with anger because with every tear drop and disappointed glare he knew she reminded him of not living up to what he said he would always be for her. The pain in her eyes and smile lacking on her face was his constant reminder that he wasn't hitting the mark, and why does he care now? He never cared, so his anger grew because she made him care but nothing he did seemed to go right in his favor.
