I have been quietly enjoying going out each morning pulling my cray pots and doing kinda average. It has been patchy with us getting a few crays one day and lots the next for no apparent reason. Mackerel and tuna have just arrived with most hirers landing one or two after Christmas. The swell before Christmas creating dirty water has kept them inactive until now.

There are good fish on spots that have not held fish for ages. And the good spots are producing multiples of coral trout, dhuies and big snapper. I put it down. To the closed demersal season and that two charter boats have left town that used to fish where. The recreational anglers used to go. Some great catches this month!
