Museum of Beyond - About
http://www.museumofbeyond.org/about.html
The Museum of Beyond is the creation of Suffolk artist Fran Crowe. By imagining how a future society might see our 21st century waste (especially plastics in the ocean), she hopes to encourage a re-think about the way we use plastics now. In addition, Fran hopes that the Museum will offer glimpses of a future beyond oil that might offer better and more fulfilling ways of living. Fran Crowe is an artist living and working on the Suffolk coast, England. Seriously researched but frequently ‘off the wa...

Art for a change. ART IN A BOX. Flyintheface is the webspace of Fran Crowe. It’s about creating: sometimes a scene; hopefully waves; and occasionally something beautiful. It’s about exploring, informing and sharing. It’s about art, projects, ideas and how we live our lives. It’s a gallery, a hobbyhorse, a protest, a creation, an exchange, a provocation. It’s subversive, it’s silly and it’s deadly serious. 1to move through the air with wings. Ex The shell must break before the bird can fly (Tennyson).
