IT IS ALL ABOUT THE JOURNEY….BE WILLING TO ENJOY IT! August 22, 2009. On Thursday, we received our approval from the orphan court and now have what is called: temporary custody until our final paperwork is processed through the court. We then headed out to our three hour drive to Riga to the US Embassy to apply for Aleks’ visa. After the approval of the visa we picked it up on Friday afternoon. We were done! Monday will arrive soon and we will be on a plane and heading to US soil! We land around 3:30!

A great WordPress.com site. July 14, 2012. My Advice…How to be a good Wife (Part 1). My dear sweet friend complained about my blogging. She said that she can’t read them without crying. I decided to dedicate my next few posts to be a little bit lighter than usual. Mostly for her (you know who you are). Sadly, I find that I write best when I’m upset, or have something weighing heavily on my mind, so hopefully my writing isn’t totally terrible this time.
