My Thoughts on Things: April 2015
http://laura-honeybee.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
My Thoughts on Things. My musings, thoughts, ideas and opinions on God, life, parenting and the books I read. Thursday, 30 April 2015. Me and Mine 2015 - April. Here we are. Snuggled up on the settee, with duvet and pillows, at 4 in the morning. April has been the month of illness, so this picture is perfect. B had tonsillitis and was needing some paracetamol. I was feeding M, so woke the Hubby to deal with B; he sat up and promptly fell off the bed, attracting M's interest! The Hubby has enjoyed. Jumpin...

An Everyday Blog: Homeschooling, Faith, and Life. Quads and Dirt Bikes. Small – Big. My Walk With God. Me and The Man! I am a sleep deprived, not-so-stay at home, wanna be hippy momma and I love every minute of it! My husband name is Aaron. Hes a very hard working and diligent man. He believes in a hard work ethic, but then he also believes hard work is rewarded with hard play! In a group when you first meet him he may seem quite, but its usually because he’s listening and taking in the people arou...

It's No Small Thing. Asymp; 1 Comment. When people ask what I “do”, I usually get one of two responses. There’s the, “How nice that you’re able to do that” variety or there’s “How long do you think you’ll do that? 8221; question. Her tendency, she said, was to say, “I’m a mom AND…”, always feeling that she needed to prove her value to the world by adding something impressive after that “and”. I get this. 8220;Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility regard others as better than yourse...

Badger Mad: September 2013
http://badgermad.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Badger on the Loose. Monday, 23 September 2013. Bringing up the next generation of Divas. Our preschool gives out a local magazine aimed at parents: Oxfordshire Families. It has a few articles around topics such as first days at school but is mainly full of adverts. One in particular caught my eye - a photo-shoot party. Other than the hideous price, the whole idea of the photo-shoot party makes me cringe. Or feel like shouting. A bit of both really. Image courtesy of Marin / FreeDigitalPhotos.net. Then i...

Badger Mad: Reasons To Be Cheerful: first steps, confessions and knitting
http://badgermad.blogspot.com/2013/12/reasons-to-be-cheerful-first-steps.html
Badger on the Loose. Wednesday, 4 December 2013. Reasons To Be Cheerful: first steps, confessions and knitting. Truth be told, I'm a day early for Reasons To Be Cheerful. But I need to say this tonight. Reason 1: The first real steps have been taken towards dealing with my depression. Last Friday I had my initial telephone assessment with Talking Space, the local NHS mental health service. They decided I have "mild-to-moderate" depression, and offered me some group CBT. Reason 2: I told my parents. Poste...

Getting my breasts off my chest: Part 4: 'Oh dear, something's wrong'
http://gettingmybreastsoffmychest.blogspot.com/2011/02/part-4-oh-dear-somethings-wrong.html
Getting my breasts off my chest. A record of my two year journey coming to terms with a challenging breastfeeding experience. Tuesday, 15 February 2011. Part 4: 'Oh dear, something's wrong'. The weekly hospital feeding clinic was thankfully held on Tuesday mornings, so that morning we dragged ourselves back to the hospital, together with the newly purchased Medela Swing breast pump, for advice on feeding and pumping. At this point I was convinced it was the tongue tie that was causing all of our problems.

Getting my breasts off my chest. A record of my two year journey coming to terms with a challenging breastfeeding experience. Tuesday, 15 February 2011. Part 8: 'Why should you be different? He looks like he’s fallen asleep.’ ‘Oh look, he’s really woken up now he’s getting his bottle. He’s enjoying that, isn’t he? 8217; ‘What that boy needs is a. I’m an emotional wreck, and I change my mind from feed to feed about what to do and whether to keep going. Why am I so bothered about this? 8217; ‘But I. That a...
