Wednesday, January 21, 2009. Inaugural Excitement- the pics! A (sort of) Golden Ticket! Section 12 was the lower left part of the orange area above. Essentially, we were on the lawn of the Capitol. We weren't ridiculously close, but you felt like you might be when there were so many people behind you! To say the least, it was a teensy bit crowded on the Metro. Nate with Super Bowl winning coach Tony Dungee. This is how close we were- we had better seats than Jaime Foxx! But Halle was there before us.

Scott, Regina, Daniel, Kaylea, Claudia and Samuel. Wednesday, April 15, 2015. We headed uptown to watch the professional criterium. The course is a mile long which makes for a challenging race. The bikers have to be fast, move around corners, stay focused, or your OUT! If a biker lags behind, then the officiator blows a whistle, points a finger directly, and motions to get off the course. It's a "big boys" race and only the best survive! She then moved on to creating pictures out of her food!

Thursday, May 5, 2011. These are one of my new favorites Ranunculus. They aren't fragrant. But they're cheap (only $4 at Trader Joe's) and they lasted a good week. I love the color variation in the petals. I've been trying to add some color to our yard so I planted some bulbs.lilies (above, but not blossoming yet) and tulips, dahlias, paperwhites. Brian, Jana, Ella, Samantha and Lucy. Tuesday, July 8, 2014. On the Fourth of July, we went to our picnic with our ward. It was pretty fun. We did relay races, ate breakfast, played volleyball, and sang, This Land is Your Land, This Land is My Land. Lucy had her friend Liam some too. I did the water balloon toss with Dad, and we only lost because Dad fumbled and dropped the balloon! There was also a chicken named Mary Jane that Lucia Bacon brought. Wednesday, October 1, 2014. Maxwell Nathan Messerly- A Birth Story. So he drove 75 mph the rest of the way to the hospital. ( it was 3:45 AM no one was on the roads, luckily) there was 1 red light and when he started to slow down I told him RUN IT! We don't have time to stop. I just wanted to get the epidural in me so the pain would stop. Nate passed the hospital entrance. I told him "YOU PASSED IT TURN AROUND! He was perfect and we were in love. Monday, January 27, 2014.
