sketch + lunch = skuntch: July 2010
http://skuntch.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 19, 2010. July 2010 Life Drawing part 1. Here is a sampling of life drawing from earlier this month. These are 3 - 10 min drawings except for the first which was a couple of hours. Conte crayon on newsprint. I kinda butchered the top one when I started drawing over it with white Conte. I should have left well enough alone. Ah well.:). More to come later this month. Monday, July 19, 2010. Gotta Have a Hook Challenge. Hi all, ol' Duder's got a lot of irons in the fire. Recently I've been participating in an open art challenge put on by WotC art director Jon Schindehette on his blog Art Order. It's been a lot of hard work and a lot of fun. Here is the assignment brief:. Setting - A cavern. Characters - A Male Dwarf Fighter and a Hook Horror. Details: The dwarf is wearing heavy scale mail armor. Wielding a warhammer and a heavy shield. July 19, 2010 at 9:46 AM. We are ...
sketch + lunch = skuntch: Batmouse!
http://skuntch.blogspot.com/2011/06/batmouse.html
Tuesday, June 14, 2011. A sketch I did for a project recently. Thought I'd post it just to give Skuntch something new. What's happened to everyone these days? Ever since NetDevil closed, I've given up joining a game company in Colorado. I'd have a hard time guessing where people went, given the lack of companies. Maybe if Trumbull builds his studio, otherwise I'm looking at other ways to become a permanent resident. Cheers. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Thursday, October 23, 2008. Fine Art vs Graphic Design }. After I had a visit at the Cranium Studio. Yesterday and met many interesting people (and the food was excellent! I encountered a very interesting question from one of the designer that had given me a lot to think about until now, even though it has been somewhat of the conclusion in the majority (yes, Renee, I still think about it). The question of "is fine art the same thing as a design? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Life As We Know It
Life As We Know It. God doesn't give children with disabilities to strong people: He gives them to ordinary, everyday people, then He helps the parents to grow stronger through the journey. Took a trip up to Maine for the Thanksgiving Holiday and arrived just in time to see it drop about a foot of snow. Took a trip over into Fryeburg, ME to try and grab a shot of mountains just as the sun set. Then wandered over into Eaton, NH to try my hand at some long exposures over Crystal Lake.
