Friday, 14 August 2015. July 2015 Hay Bridge to Braunston Turn. Mum and I went to Hay Bridge and joined Constance for twelve days. I moved the car up to Fenny Compton and walked back to Hay Bridge. Walking from Warwickshire back into Oxfordshire. A second brood of ducklings for this Mum. We set off from Hay Bridge heading north, passing. The feed from Boddington Reservoir. Had to wait a long time to pass through the Fenny Compton 'Tunnel' because of on-coming boats. It is very narrow! Napton on the hill.

Friday, 14 August 2015. July 2015 Braunston Turn to Rugby. Having left Napton fairly early in the morning we turned to head up the North Oxford Canal. There are many instances of the old 'Ridge and Furrow' methods of farming to be seen all around these parts but this seemed to be a particularly well preserved example. Thursday, 30 October 2014. One large and two small holes at the top of the photo. The swim tank had to be drained a little to get the top surface dry. All of the layers of rust were removed and had anti-rust treatment applied before a couple of layers of fibre glass (car body repair kit) were applied. The finished, cleaned fibre-glass repaired tank top was then painted with Danboline. The strip of swim to the right (in the photo above) has not been painted yet because it was not dry enough. Saturday, 7 March 2015. The turning of the Solar Panel. At Oxford we have come as far south as we will this winter season. We are now turning northwards and will be heading that way for some time now. The solar panel has now been turned round to gather as much of the suns rays as it can. The plan for the next few months is to head up past Thrupp, Banbury and Napton then on towards Leamington Spa, Warwick and Birmingham. So much to look forward to! Friday, 14 November 2014. Work continues in the bathroom. The central heating is now all connected up and ready to test. The shelving in the bathroom is coming along slowly. It is the painting that takes forever. The shelves and the extra space will be far more useful than the old sink was. Out with the paint brush and get to work!
