Monday, October 19, 2009. Moonshine, Fast Cars, and Revenuers. The revenuer, a government agent responsible for collecting revenue had the responsibility of catching bootleggers. The photo to the right shows a few revenuers after they captured a distillery. Many of the bootleggers would gather on Sunday and race for fun!

Tuesday, September 29, 2009. I Knew I Was In The South When. I was sitting in the reception area of my dentist's office in Huntersville, waiting to be seen, getting anxious. I really hate going to the dentist. As a matter of fact I need to get "laughing gas" even when its just a cleaning! Or chocolate on your burger!

Friday, June 24, 2011. I mean, we would have had to wait another 5 years and by that time would MacKenna, at 15, really want to go? I said, "yes, it is." So he gave me a scrunched eyebrow look and said, "this is lame. Can we go now? So, the Glockenspiel wasn't a big hit with the kids. We headed back to the hotel, and lucky for us the room was ready. We all went to sleep for about 4 or 5 hours and decided we should get up if we want to sleep that night. I thought that was pretty funny.

Thursday, May 26, 2011. So, those of you who know me, know that I thought I was ok with just having 2 children. Both Justin and I felt as though it was just what we were supposed to do. Sunday, September 20, 2009. I had the opportunity to travel overseas with my husband to go to his friend's wedding. How could I pass up an opportunity to travel with Justin? It was hard to leave the kids, but I knew they would make it! We got to go to London and Paris and go to a great wedding! He opens up a whole new world to me and he has made my travel bug restless. Sunday, June 14, 2009. OK, so summer is here and I have to say it's hard to get into it! The kids just want to go to the pool everyday, not my favorite thing to do, and I am finding myself bored. I guess this is why going on a vacation right away is probably the best start to summer.(mental note for next year! I will only sell popsicles". Then he asked if he would make a lot of money, and I told him probably not. So, he decided he would be a doctor too, but he would give kids popsicles!

I worked my butt off to make good grades and did everything the acceptable way. After graduating with a degree in music, I went back to school and got my teacher certification. Wednesday, May 13, 2009. I can not believe today is Justin's 35th birthday! We met each other at Belmont University in 1994, and he was just 20. He was charming, caring, thoughtful, handsome, and such a gentleman. We became the best of friends and we found ourselves missing each other over Christmas break.
