Orkustofnun has authorized seabed research for a sea cable. Orkustofnun has granted the company Atlantic Superconnection Corporation a license to study the seabed southeast of Iceland due to a potential sea cable between Iceland and UK. The research is estimated to take place between June 1 and September 1 2015 by the vessel Stril Explorer. . The license in Icelandic can be found here. Oil and Gas Exploration.
