The art of being me. A brief summary of events and musings. I've always been able to recall my dreams. Over my lifetime they've varied from the mundane to the whimsical. In the time since my mother moved to heaven, some have been bittersweet. I wake up from dreams of her and realize she's no longer here. While truly scary dreams are rare, I've noticed an increase in disturbing, painful and anxious dreams of late. These seem to happen when pain levels are elevated. Do any of you have this happen? The art of being me. A brief summary of events and musings. Watching for the Light. Never before in my life has Advent seemed so important to me. In this season of waiting for the Light of the World the earth seems to be covered in darkness. The Church is under attack. Brothers and sisters are being murdered for their faith. God's people in Israel are under constant threat and very real danger. If ever we needed the light, we surely need it now! Thankfully, this season is to remind us the Light is here!

The art of being me. A brief summary of events and musings. Kindness in character is still around. This past weekend was a mighty challenge. What began Thursday evening as a migraine and some joint pain, blew up into a mighty migraine and every joint in pain by the time Saturday morning came to call. I was trying every trick in the book to alleviate any of the symptoms. I was successful in abating them a bit in order to join my sister at a show Saturday night. Links to this post.
