Jack's Journey: February 2010
http://jacks-journey.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 4, 2010. It's amazing to me how we get so caught up in the busyness of our normal routine. We need to set boundaries and keep the important from being overrun by what we think is urgent or is it just pressing or poor control of priorities, disorganization or not saying "NO" often enough. I will have to think about that. When the first round of shopping was complete Todd had three rather large bags to take out to the van and it was time to hit the food court. Even that was fun! We now t...

So far, he doesn't like oatmeal (plain) but he loves bananas in his oatmeal. So we decided to try avocado as his next food and by the end of the bowl he was leaning forward and grunting because Scott couldn't get it into his mouth fast enough. I think it is safe to assume that Drew loves avocado. Drew is really happy to be at the beach.

The Constant Nomad: October 2009
http://theconstantnomad.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
A day in the life of me; the constant nomad. Monday, October 26, 2009. The characters in Room 606. Ah yes, I'm going to make light of the situation where my mom is at the current moment. Since I sit in the hospital 8 - 10 hrs a day and if I don't bring some humor to the situation I would go stir crazy. Let me introduce you to the people that my mom is staying with. First I'll discuss my mother and go clockwise. 606B - Joyce (my mom). Surgery - Left knee replacement. Other issues - Alzheimer's and other.

Ashby Empty Nesters: 2010 Move Over for 2011 To Arrive
http://ashbyemptynesters.blogspot.com/2010/12/2010-move-over-for-2011-to-arrive.html
Thursday, December 30, 2010. 2010 Move Over for 2011 To Arrive. As we close out 2010 we reflect on all the happenings (good and bad) for the past 12 months. We hopefully learn from our mistakes, embrace the beauty of our babies in our life and move forward to become a better person. There are many things that make us all grow as individuals, as husbands and wives; as grandparents; parents; co-workers but most of all as God's children. I wish for full time employment for Jack to make him feel more complete.

Ashby Empty Nesters: September 2010
http://ashbyemptynesters.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 25, 2010. I'm sure it will be something that I will need and will make great use of! Isn't that funny how life has us believing that we need to fill up areas that are vacated; or we need to replace things that have gone away or we've made changes in our life. God is instrumental in all changes in everyday life and sometimes we need to strip ourselves of all the outside, materialistic things and just start anew! Links to this post.
