Friday, December 9, 2011. FFWD: Chard-Stuffed Pork Loin Spiced Squash, Fennel, and Pear Soup Matafan. We have missed a lot of FFWD and are now trying to catch up. This week we made three recipes for the same meal. We liked them all! The Matafan (Fluffy Mashed Potato Pancakes). Recipe was one of the most involved I've made from AMFT. For such a homey recipe, it sure took a lot of effort. The Spiced Squash, Fennel, and Pear Soup. My husband and son felt differently - they were crazy about it! My DD and Me.

Jade Tree Kitchen: The Night Kitchen is open
http://jadetreekitchen.blogspot.com/2009/06/night-kitchen-is-open.html
Tuesday, June 23, 2009. The Night Kitchen is open. So it's difficult to cook with an infant, as I've observed before. He plays happily in his excersaucer. For a bit, but as soon as I start chopping an onion, or chicken, or some other noxious, poisonous thing (I'm convinced that various germs live on horribly despite my Silkwood. Shower hand washing and will contaminate my sweet babe), he needs me. So I've taken to cooking dinners (and baby food! At night while my husband is putting the baby to bed. It's ...

Jade Tree Kitchen: June 2009
http://jadetreekitchen.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 25, 2009. I do not own a single flan ring. So I've been snogging this month's Gourmet for the last few evenings while my husband puts Mr Tumnus. To bed and tonight I was looking at their recipe for Savory Summer Tarts. Yum This is the sort of thing I would have made for a brunch pre. Anyway, the recipe for the crusts instructs the reader, once the crust is made and chilled, to "arrange [12 4-inch] flan rings on 2 sheets of parchment paper.". Image placer. Boo hiss. I have no shame! But my ...

Find comfort here in my warm and cozy kitchen. Laquo; Great Gift Idea……Linnea Design 2012 Poster Calendar. Home Is Where The Heart Is. October 11, 2011 by juju73. As a Southerner, you are born with the inherent capability to do many things, or so it is believed. Southerners by nature are very proud of their heritage, as I am of mine. The ability to make splendid fried chicken, barbecue, sweet tea, and biscuits, some think, are something a Southerner is just born knowing how to do. Not the case with me.

Double-layer chocolate cake | my famous recipe
https://myfamousrecipe.wordpress.com/2010/04/20/double-layer-chocolate-cake
Laquo; Tuesdays with Dorie: Swedish visiting cake. Tuesdays with Dorie: Chockablock cookies. April 20, 2010 by Amy. I used to be a big fan of the dense, fudgy, flourless chocolate cake. You know, the low, smooth, intense sliver that’s usually topped with raspberry sauce and a dollop of whipped cream. But lately, as I mentioned last week, I’ve been more drawn to the classic layer cake, with its fluffy interior and thick layers of frosting. Double chocolate layer cake. 1 1/2 cups hot brewed coffee. Cool la...

April 29, 2010. Italy In My Mailbox. Even with all the cyber connecting I've got going on now, I was thrilled when I heard about Foodie Exchange. Foodie Exchange is a website that connects foodies from around the world to exchange food care packages. Getting a package in and of itself is great but the idea of it being filled with regional treats is downright awesome. My firs exchange was with Rosella from Milan, Italy who sent me a fantastic box of goodies. For yourself and sign up! April 28, 2010. Look ...
