Note-ED's Support for Team-working. Note-ED Team allows two notetakers to work alternately using their own laptops. The client views the information displayed by the active notetaker. The other, passive, notetaker monitors the same information and with one click can take control of the session. Both notetakers should connect to the network as normal. The passive notetaker should select File. Monitor or right-click and choose Monitor from the pop-up menu. Enter the address of the active notetaker.

Known Faults

Issues with Previous Versions. Note-ED Version 3.10 and earlier with Microsoft Word 2013. Microsoft has modified Word's automation behaviour, which is used by Note-ED for spell-checking and to save documents in Word format. After saving a document, spell-checking stops working, it goes through each potentially mis-spelt word but error messages are displayed and the word cannot be corrected. It is safer to avoid trying to check spellings after the document has been saved. Uninstall your version of Note-ED...
