Wednesday, June 24, 2009. Swimmer of the WEEK! So tonight we were so excited - Gunnar was awarded with swimmer of the week! Also, tonight Gates won the raffle after being entered for having a personal best time. Gates lives for the ribbons! He thinks that is the coolest thing ever and he has them displayed neatly all around his room. I know this is only summer league swim but my kids love it and I love cheering them on:) Go Devereaux and keep up the AWESOME work my two G's! I am STAR and this is me- -.

Day Two, Three, and etc. I know.I have slacked. We have been slammed with gymnastics, cheerleading, Marine Corps Ball, and you name it. However, we still have been eating. Here are the recipes that we have been trying . Tex Mex Pot Roast. 2 pounds boneless beef chuck roast. 1 teaspoon chipotle chile powder.

Wednesday, June 20, 2012. I feel like I have finally been able to process the weekend of my graduation. It was such an overwhelming weekend. Not overwhelming in a bad way, overwhelming in a wow I don't deserve this. I am so humbled by the love I felt that weekend from meals together, to a surprise party with 50 people, to my amazing new camera gift, and on and on! Tuesday, July 24, 2012. Though I have been to California many times, I had yet to make it to San Francisco. So in celebration of my graduation and just because it was time for a fun friend trip, Taylor and I met in San Fran for a fabulous long weekend of sorts. We had so much fun exploring a brand new city, eating yummy food, and finally visiting wine country (post to follow). The weather was beautiful during the day and rather chilly at night. I was glad I brought a fleece! Senior Pictures. hahaha.

Friday, August 10, 2012. Having never been to wine country before and not really knowing where to even start or what wineries to go to, Taylor and I decided that a tour would be the best way for our first visit. We found a great company and absolutely loved our tour guide, Dan the man! This is the life! Our tour group. very interesting group! Rupert, the official dog of Peter Cellars. We had so much fun that we are already planning our return trip! So much fun and a beautiful day for wine tasting!

Tuesday, March 23, 2010. Gates has been waiting for this day for a really long time. We signed him up for soccer back in November, so to him it felt like forever! He had his first game on Saturday. His team is called the Meteors. lots of little boys and two GIRLS!
