marshall family: Summertime Update
http://ourwild.blogspot.com/2012/06/summertime-update.html
It's been a few months. Sorry about that. We've been busy, but I have also been unmotivated to write, I guess. I'm enjoying being pregnant in the summer; it feels nice to not have to wear lots of constricting layers. I live in my swimsuit on the weekends, and summer dresses when I have to be in public. Here's a recent picture that shows that, yes, yes I am 30 weeks pregnant:. It's very fun to be four years old. And after: (Note: I wanted to wait until I cleaned the room, hung curtains, did a few craft pr...

Along the way, Josie found a dandelion and started to blow the seeds away. I don't think four years olds really know how to talk to themselves inside their head, so she said all her wishes aloud. I wish I were as tall as my mom. I wish I could drive a car. I wish I were a fairy for real. I wish I could meet a fairy. I wish we could go to Six Flags. I wish I could do a headstand. As she said her wishes, I thought of my own wishes for her. I wish you didn't have to grow up. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

One of these people is almost 16 weeks pregnant. We are expecting our third marshmallow! I'm due on September 7th, but I'll likely have a scheduled cesarean in my 39th week- so I'm guessing the last week of August, though nothing is set up just yet. I've been feeling good- no sickness or anything. I've been tired, but I think anyone who works full time and has two high energy kids and is growing a new kid would feel pretty tired! marshall family: Easter
http://ourwild.blogspot.com/2012/04/easter.html
This is what happens when you are two years old, at a huge family gathering, and feeling overwhelmed and tired. There are no cute sibling pictures of Jimmy and Josie on Easter morning. Jimmy had already had too much by that point. I mean, obviously THAT is lost on Josie, but something I thought of none the less. I'm still not comfortable with Josie pursuing the actual princess movies, as she is not able to think critically about the movies at this juncture in her life. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

marshall family: It's a girl!
http://ourwild.blogspot.com/2012/04/its-girl.html
Last Wednesday, Eric, the kids, and I found out that this little baby is a girl! Though I can't say I'm great with predicting stuff like this- I will say that I THOUGHT it was a girl. (For the record, I thought all of my pregnancies were girls! I would've been excited to have a baby boy, too, though. Who knows, maybe number four! Everything looks good and I feel pretty good, too. The other day I made a home-made bubble solution that worked really well and made much more than 8 oz. It's very cost-effe...

At the end of summer I return to work full time, so I think that's partly why I'm wishing for more time with Josie and Jimmy- I know that September is looming, when I'll really only see them between 4:45 and bedtime five days a week. Soon after school ended, we went on our annual visit to Parker Lake. It was a little bit chilly (mid-70s) while we were there, so I wasn't exactly inclined to go swimming a lot, but guess who was? So that brings us to July. Of course, on the fourth of July Eric had to work- ...
