A Year in the Life. So many wonderful moments to share during this year in my life. Thursday, October 28, 2010. I've had a very busy and exciting Halloween week! I have been able to dress-up in my Annie costume . complete with locket and dog Sandy! Mommy makes my hair poofy so it will look like Annie, even though Annie has short hair and my hair is long. This is my cute witch shoes shirt that PJ's mom Stephanie made. Me and my doggie in our Abby Cadabby headbands. Mrs Beverly's 3's class. Me and Mr. ...

Alabama Empty Nester: October 2011
http://alabambaemptynester.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
A blog about reclaiming life after the chicks have left the nest. Sunday, October 9, 2011. I took a group of kindergardeners from Shades Mountain Elementary School. On a field trip Friday. It's been a long time since I've been in amongst that many five year olds. Most of them had never been on a bus before and the first few curves and bumps the bus encountered caused a reaction similar to a flock of startled starlings. Near Harpersville, Alabama. Just a forty minute drive from the school. The farm is ope...

Friday was our Fairy Tale Ball. We had multiple exciting activities including a visit from Miss Katie Jane of the Hoover Public Library. She shared a fractured fairy tale with us titled Waking Beauty by Leah Wilcox. Then we shared nursery rhymes, but Miss Katie Jane's bag of tricks mixed up the nursery rhymes which made us laugh! Bread, round 2 - a success! Today we had success with bread making. See the pictures below to see what fun we had making bread and eating it with homemade butter. Bread, round 1.

Friday, October 28, 2011. DeSoto Caverns Fun Park. This past weekend, we headed out to spend a family day at the Old Baker Farm. Our favorite pumpkin patch. When we arrived, the place was so packed we decided to think up a Plan B. A few more miles down the road was a place we'd planned to visit for a long time, but had never made it out to. We decided that that gorgeous fall day would be perfect for exploring DeSoto Caverns Family Fun Park. Caleb shooting a bow and arrow for the first time. My goal is to...

Thursday, November 27, 2008. Sunday afternoon was spent with Rachel and Brad. Rachel's parents, and her sister and her family. Though it doesn't show his beautiful face, this is my favorite picture of Connor from the day. Sorry Dad, but this one is too funny to not share :). I had a blast - it was great seeing you all again!
