Monday, January 25, 2010. A vote for choice! The Micheal Schmidt verdict. People stood clapping and cheering. Someone opened the door and let the verdict be known to the spectators outside the courtroom and a deafening roar was heard out there. In the end, the judge determined that cow shares are outside regulatory oversight based on the following:. A great day for Canada! People drank raw milk outside the courtroom as press interviewed people from all walks of life. The rally afterwards was charged with...

http://olddavesgarden.blogspot.com/2015/04/spring-has-arrived-sorry-for-being-gone.html
Friday, April 3, 2015. I've been watching a lot of British gardening shows on YouTube this last Winter. My language has changed just a bit after that much British influence. One of the things they talked about was "chitting" potatoes. I'm just about ready to plant the basement buckets with tomatoes and green peppers but that's for another post that will a little sooner than the last one. Until then plan on planting some thing this year. It will make you feel better. Friday, April 03, 2015. Welcome to Old...
Old Dave's Garden: December 2014
http://olddavesgarden.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 30, 2014. The year is fast coming to a close and the new year looms on the horizon. The outside gardens have long since given up their last bit of harvest. The weather outside is definitely Winter with out first below zero temps for the 2014-2015 Winter season. Only 79 days until Spring. What does a garden maniac do during the off season. Bring the garden inside. I've been thinking about this for some time. Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Days until Autumn begins.

Monday, May 26, 2014. As you can see they were really toasted. It really wasn't worth the effort to try and save them. I thought elevated above the ground and inside a bucket would protect them from the frost but not so. It got all of the plants. The cabbages, onions, radishes, and lettuce survived the freezing temperatures and are well on their way to live long and prosper. More next time. Keep your paddles in the water and you will reach your destination soon enough. . Monday, May 26, 2014. Spring fin...

Sunday, September 21, 2014. Fall is already here. One good thing about the rain, it's kept me from being tempted to over do anything during my cancer treatment recovery. I'm pretty much back to normal with strength and endurance. I'm planning on getting back to the project list . well that is if the weather will let me. We are only two thirds through the month and we are already two inches above the average rain fall for September. What do you see here? A swingset in need of repair? Welcome to Old Dave's...

Sunday, November 16, 2014. Winter arrives with a cold blast. The gorgeous long lasting fall color is definitely over. Frigid wind chill temperatures dropping down below zero and a two inch dusting of snow marked the beginning of the winter season. Even though the official winter date is a month away, winter is here to stay. The ten day forecast is for more of the same. It's time to stay inside and work on those unfinished projects from last winter. Have a great Thanksgiving everyone. The Jones Garden Blog.

Thursday, February 5, 2015. Lid was placed on top to keep the moisture in. The tray was set back on the heat mat to wait for the seeds to come to life. Ah, yeah, the drain hose had jumped out of the drain. I suspect the washer is getting really tired of getting blamed for flooding the laundry room floor. Well, that's all for now from the Urban Ranch. I hope to have another report on the experimental ideas in a week or two. Have a great time either planning a garden or laughing at my crazy plans. We had t...

Wednesday, May 20, 2015. Let the Gardening Begin. Here is the third layer ready for planting. The first layer are the large plants and the smaller plants just breaking the soil would be the second layer. The sprouted plants are setting on the corner of the bed waiting to be planted. Here we have the third layer planted on May 6th and ready to start the journey toward harvest. After this planting the rains began and the potatoes grew. Wednesday, May 20, 2015.
