Cold Nights, Warm Bed. November 16, 2015. November 6, 2016. Living near the picturesque Ashby Canal is a treat, but not so much in winter time. I almost dread it if I didn’t love the place. The sky grows dim and gray and the surrounding landscape doesn’t beckon. The air is so still. What a difference from spring and summer. Some mornings you just want to stay in bed and pull the covers up tighter, but alas, you can’t. It kept me awake. Nonetheless, I found one answer here.
