Flying Dreams On the Road: We See Rock City and Ruby Falls

For many years the big barns of the rural South provided advertisement for Rock City, that geological curiosity formed by the action of water millions of years ago. Today the barns are mostly gone, but their image remains in bird houses and bird feeders- and Rock City and its accompanying attraction Ruby Falls still attract tourists from one end of the United States to the other. Each year in Marietta, Georgia, Life University, a chiropractic school, holds a massive holiday light display on their grounds. James found out about it from a co-worker one Christmas season when I was in an emotional funk and took me to see it; it's now an annual tradition. Photos of Our Favorite Restaurant. This restaurant, decorated as if it were an Italian farmhouse taken over by the 57th Fighter Group during World War II,. Was a favorite of my husband and myself. We would usually go there for holidays such as. Mother's Day. We had no connection with the management of this restaurant, we just enjoyed. The decor, the period music, and the food- and James liked the airplanes coming and going at. The small municipal airport it overlooks. RETURN TO "ON THE ROAD".
