Asymp; 2 Comments. After the W trek, we collapsed for a day and ate a lot of pizza. Then we hopped on a bus and crossed the border into Argentina to see the biggest glacier we’ve ever seen. It’s called the Perito Moreno glacier and it’s located just outside of the town of El Calafate. See, it's enormous. I was impressed by the glacier. but I was also still tired and sore from the hike. My Mom Came to Visit! Asymp; Leave a comment. On the train to see Machu Picchu! After two months in northern Peru, at the end of January we headed down through Lima and onto Cuzco to meet my mom! She flew in on a Wednesday and we had an awesome week with her. We went to the famous Machu Picchu and took a cooking class in Cuzco, among other things. (Like lots of shopping and eating 🙂.
