Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Beth and some local children learning each other's language while waiting for class to start. (During 'Africa time'.). In Yaounde where water flowed from a pipe providing fresh water for a large area. Most have wells close to their homes, but this is where they were getting their drinking water, and some were bathing and doing laundry, as well. Tuesday, December 30, 2014. A little bit of Lucy. Lucy loves her babies. She has three of them. She pretends to feed them, kisses them, gets them naked, and loves them deeply. Sometimes I have to rock Lucy and her babies to sleep, too cute. We made her a tent for Christmas and she loves it. She eats snacks in it, reads books inside of it, plays with toys, chases Asher thru it and fills it with laughter. Dave and I took Lucy to the park and went sledding. It was only 1 degree outside but she loved it!

Friday, March 28, 2014. Lucy is working on her fine motor skills. She is grabbing things, even small tags, with intent, and then putting them in her mouth. It is amazing to watch her curiosity and concentration. It cracks me up that sometimes she likes a toys tag as much as the toy itself. Lucy has almost rolled from her back to her tummy, but her arm keeps getting stuck beneath her. She is swinging her hips and looking over her shoulders often while on her back. Tuesday, March 17, 2015. Dave, Lucy and I traveled to Phoenix for a week of sunshine, Spring Training baseball, cousins, family, fun and sports tourneys. The weather was amazing. Sunny and 80 degrees! Lucy LOVED her cousins and their backyard. Lu called it the park and requested to go play at 6 am. But it was so nice to open the back door and let her go play. The backyard had a swing set, mini trampoline, water table, pool (with a fence), grass, garden veggies and two awesome cousins! We love you all!
