Dan's Grand Adventures: Albanian Adventures (part 1)
http://dansgrandadventures.blogspot.com/2015/07/albanian-adventures-part-1.html
Saturday, July 18, 2015. Albanian Adventures (part 1). We didn't do much in Sarande and only planned for one night there. Which was enough. The next day we got on the bus for the hour and a half ride to Gjirokaster! The ride was pretty crappy. Really hot on a tiny bus going back and forth on many many switchbacks. And then when we got off we had to walk about 40 mins straight UP to get from the bus station to the Old Town. But once we were there it was well worth it. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Dan's Grand Adventures: Euro adventure 2015
http://dansgrandadventures.blogspot.com/2015/07/euro-adventure-2015.html
Tuesday, July 7, 2015. We just finished the main program for GYLC 2015 in Europe. We had a rockstar team and some very awesome fun times! We started in Vienna, hung out at the Pyramide hotel, went to Sand in the City and of course had a great trip to Grumpelskrichen! Luckily we had Jean ready to Sweep kids with her handy Segway! My kids will love it. But it worked out well. Zero heat strokes and all sights were still seen. (Even though I did not take any pictures on those days.oops). The foods of Albania.

Trying to remember all the funny things my children say and do. And the rest of life too. Friday, January 17, 2014. I thought I'd write an update on what the kids are into right now. Jack has been drawing pictures of the characters during his free time at school. On his own, Jack is reading Diary of a Wimpy Kid books and a Nate the Great book. On Christmas Eve, he went to church early with Pat and read more than half of the Nate book! Thanks for saving us seats! What We're Playing With:. Both Jack and Ca...

Capturing the Days: November 2012
http://tleadventures.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Trying to remember all the funny things my children say and do. And the rest of life too. Wednesday, November 28, 2012. Chopsticks and Invisible Skeletons. A few weeks ago, after I put Casey in bed, she came out and yelled down from her room. "Mommy! Do you have any chopsticks? Since I was in the kitchen, I wasn't sure I had heard her correctly. "What do you want? She said, "Do you have any chopsticks? She replies, "For my lips.my lips hurt.". Yes, right, the invisible skeleton. There it wouldn't bother ...

Capturing the Days: August 2012
http://tleadventures.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Trying to remember all the funny things my children say and do. And the rest of life too. Sunday, August 19, 2012. In between Barbie adventures, I tried to do some little projects around the house that I thought Casey would be interested in. If I wanted to sew, I sewed something for her. One dress turned out to be a big failure and the other still needs just a little finishing. I also decided it was time to get the big bare wall behind her bed decorated. Casey managed to be in almost every picture. S...

http://tleadventures.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Trying to remember all the funny things my children say and do. And the rest of life too. Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Today was registration day at Jack's new school. He starts school next Monday! August 6th is pretty early but he gets done around the 3rd week in May. That's why we had to miss International Festival and our two weeks of August in Maine and visit earlier. After driving home for a few more pieces of paperwork, Jack is officially registered for 1st grade. He met the principal and despite ou...

Wednesday, August 7, 2013. I'm sure I will need to revise this post when I get back home but for now here is a quick summary of the past few days. We went to Chiang Mai in the north of Thailand and did a two day trek.it started with our group picking us up at our hotel. It was me, Erin and 4 Germans. I was super excited that they were German, as I have a better chance at being able to understand and talk with them. You can guess why he got that name). The village was awesome. Bamboo huts. Mike & Cicely 2.0: October 2011

Mike and Cicely 2.0. Our Adventures in Parenthood. The Places We'll Go. View my complete profile. Saturday, October 8, 2011. We were honored when a dear friend and Mike's childhood buddy, Laura, asked if Grace could be the flower girl for her wedding. I was a little nervous about how she would do because while Grace is usually very friendly and social, she does have her moments of shyness. Tearing it up on the dance floor. Taking her flower petal throwing duty very seriously. Posted by Mike and Cicely.
