Following most of his surgeries. Surgery #3, May 9, 2007:. A Ventricular Access Device was placed in Donavon's head due to "water on the brain", *Hydrocephalus. The brain bleeds made his brain unable to drain spinal fluid off of it. His head began to swell and the Doctor's watched it closely. He had a spinal tap.

I have provided a link to convert your babies weight from grams (what the hospital weighs the babies in) to pounds and ounces, something more familar to the general public. To use the chart in the link first. Locate on the chart the babies weight in grams. Then, locate the numbers to the left for pounds and to the top for ounces. Your babies nurse can also convert this for you.

Brad, Alissa, Donavon, and Eli. Thursday, March 3, 2011. Donavon has had snow and ice on 3 of his 4 birthdays, most kids in Arkansas can't say that, such a lucky guy. He had a great birthday and a fun time at his party with the fam. I just can't believe how far he's come, I am excited to see what this next year holds! For the second year in a row it snowed on Donavon's Bday. And by party day the weather was perfect for a cookout! Such a fun gift from my mom and dad :). Eli's first cake, MMMM.

I am healed completely from surgery and everything is back to "normal" around here. Eli is a Very easy baby, no offense to anyone with kids without severe disabilities but well babies are a BREEZE if you are Brad and Alissa. With that said ask me how I feel about this when he is walking-HA! He is teeny tiny with BIG eyes and sweet sweet sweet! But how precious is this!

The new coop is over 6 feet tall, so we can stand up inside, and has an automatic water bowl and feeder, so it's super easy to maintain. We also used an old plantation shutter that we found at our local ReStore for the door which allows us to let in more air in the summer.
