The Waite Update: The Prodigal Blogger
http://thewaiteupdate.blogspot.com/2010/03/prodigal-blogger.html
Friday, March 19, 2010. Well, I hope some of you will welcome me back into the blogging world even though I've been astray for so long. I can't guarantee I'll be posting as often as I'd like, but I'll certainly try to not let another 15 months go by between posts (I'm pathetic, I know)! Of course the box is always much more fun than the toy, right? Some of my favorite moments throughout the day are watching my little guys playing together. I've been very impressed at what a good big brother Bryce is ...

The Waite Update: Home Birth
http://thewaiteupdate.blogspot.com/2008/11/home-birth.html
Tuesday, November 25, 2008. As my due date approaches, we're getting prepared for our first home birth experience. We had to purchase a birth kit with all sorts of goodies in it (pictured below), and several other supplies. It's definitely a different experience preparing for a home birth rather than a hospital birth. When I tell people I'm having a home birth, 90% of the time their response is "you're so brave! And #2: "I can't believe you're going to risk your life and the life of your baby like that!

The Waite Update: February 2007
http://thewaiteupdate.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 26, 2007. Well, it's only been 6 weeks since Bryce was born, but it seems like he's been in our lives forever. I can't believe how big he's grown already! I try to keep a camera by my side all day so I can capture as many precious moments as possible. Here are just a few of them. Bryce is getting funner and funner every day. He started smiling a couple of weeks ago- it's so adorable! And that's our son! He's just as precious as can be, and we're so grateful he's a part of our family!

The Waite Update: November 2007
http://thewaiteupdate.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 19, 2007. Although our blog is entitled "The Waite Update", I should probably change it to "The Bryce Update", because that's mostly what it is. You might find Jarett and I in a picture here or there, but we just can't compete with an adorable face like this! Making messes is what Bryce does best! Here's Bryce with his adorable cousins. As you can see, he's a little outnumbered right now, but he's got two boy cousins on the way who'll be here early next year. The proud Mama with her son.

The Waite Update: December 2008
http://thewaiteupdate.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 14, 2008. Well, he finally made it! Tyler (Ty) David Waite was born on Saturday, December 13th at 4:15 am He weighed in at 8lb 13 oz, was 21 1/2 inches long, and has quite the head full of blonde hair. Ty was 8 days overdue, so we were more than ready to welcome him into the family! Labor was intense and painful, of course, but luckily I progressed very quickly. I went from being 4 cm dialated to 10 cm in just over 2 hours, and it only took about 5-10 minutes of hard pushing before b...

The Waite Update: January 2007
http://thewaiteupdate.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 23, 2007. Well folks, he's finally here! Bryce William Waite was born on Wednesday, January 17 at 7:19 am He weighed 7 lb. 5 oz. and was just under 20 inches long. Isn't he a cutie! It was no picnic for Jarett either- he spent the night pushing on pressure points and helping me relax and breath through each contraction. But although it was difficult, the labor brought us a perfect, healthy little baby, so it was well worth the effort! So, that's the latest! We're so excited to have Bryce...
